About FahiGovaan

Research Project Overview

FahiGovaan is part of an ongoing research project focused on the detection and management of watermelon pests and diseases. This application represents an experimental approach to leveraging artificial intelligence for early identification of plant health issues.

Our primary focus is on watermelon crops, which face numerous challenges from pests and diseases that can significantly impact yield and quality. By developing accurate detection tools, we aim to help farmers and gardeners identify problems early and implement appropriate management strategies.

While our initial research centers on watermelon, we've expanded our model to recognize diseases in several other crops including cucumber, melon, pumpkin, papaya, pepper.

Project Goals

1

Improve Detection Accuracy

Develop and refine AI models that can accurately identify watermelon diseases and pests from images with minimal false positives.

2

Expand Knowledge Base

Build a comprehensive database of plant diseases, their symptoms, and effective treatment strategies to provide valuable guidance to users.

3

Enhance Accessibility

Create a user-friendly platform that makes advanced plant disease detection technology accessible to farmers, gardeners, and agricultural professionals.

4

Gather User Feedback

Collect and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve the application's functionality, accuracy, and usefulness.
